Vic & Dean’s Pizzeria Grill has an immediate need to fill two positions: front counter and cook.

FRONT COUNTER
We are looking for an energetic, friendly individual to work our front counter. The person that works the front counter at Vic & Dean’s is the face and voice of the restaurant, so we are looking for someone who can handle the hustle and bustle of the restaurant business with a smile.

Job Description:
-Answering phones and taking customer orders
-Serving food to dine-in customers
-Preparing delivery and takeout orders
-Working the cash register
-Oversee the inventory and appearance of the front area of the restaurant, including the dining area
-Any other duties assigned by manager as needed

Hours:
-Part-time
-Day and evening shifts available
-Must be able to work weekends
-The restaurant is closed on most holidays

Requirements
-Friendly
-Previous customer service experience preferred
-Fast learner
-Works well with others
-Reliable transportation
-Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant preferred
-Ability to work on computers; experience with restaurant POS (point of sale) systems preferred
-Capable of following all procedures related to cash, cleanliness, food safety, and restaurant safety and security
-Must be able to begin work as soon as possible or within a reasonable period to allow for notice to a current employer

COOK
We are looking for an experienced, hardworking person to cook in our kitchen. The ideal candidate is used to working in a busy pizza kitchen environment and is familiar with basic food preparation and cooking concepts.

Job Description:
-Morning “prep work” in the kitchen, including preparation of food and equipment
-Prepare pizza and other menu items for dine-in, takeout and delivery orders
-Prepare all menu items following appropriate recipes and procedures
-Able to operate restaurant equipment (minimum age requirements may apply)
-Assist in closing the kitchen at the end of the business day, including taking inventory and cleaning the kitchen and equipment
-Any other duties assigned by manager as needed
